Mr. Clarence Ervin Mays, son of the late Curby and Gracie Moultrie Mays, was born on July 2, 1953, in Daytona Beach, Florida. He was summoned home by God's Angels on Tuesday, March 2, 2010, at Trident Hospital..
Clarence was affectionately known as "Ervin" by his family and friends. He received his education in the public schools of Dorchester County.
Clarence was a truck driver for over twenty years before he went on to the Craft Service in the television and film industry, which he so loved to do. He also served six honorable years in the Army National Guard.
Clarence was joined in Holy matrimony on August 12, 1977, to Louise Kelly. This union was blessed with four beautiful children — Anthony, Ervin, Jr., Rodnick, and Shana — all of whom he dearly loved.
