Cheveski Jsaac
Heyward
Jan 11, 1977 — Dec 13, 2021
St. George
Cheveski Jsaac Heyward (Vet) was born January 11, 1977 to Elois Heyward. He entered into eternal rest on Monday, December 13, 2021 at Trident Regional Medical Center.
Cheveski was reared in the home of his maternal grandparents, the late Alex and Burnell Heyward. He attended the public schools of Dorchester County and was a 1995 graduate of St George High School. At an early age he joined Bethel AME Church and was a faithful and dedicated member.
Cheveski later moved to North Dakota and was employed at Roadsounds. This was where he developed his passion for window tinting and working on cars. He also worked in the oil fields. Vet's love of cars drew him to entrepreneurship and opening his own business known as "Tint Man".
Vet fell in love with a ND girl, Amy Jacobson and in 2012 they were married in St George SC on "Heyward Hill" under the Oak Trees. Together, Vet and Amy had 3 children: Chloe Constance (13), Jisaac Saint (12), and Alexiyana Kinzlee (3). In 2018 the family relocated from North Dakota back to St George, SC.
Vet was a family man and enjoyed spending time with his family. With Amy they loved spur of the moment trips to the beach, with Chloe they cooked, with Jisaac they rode dirt bikes and worked with anything with wheels and motors, and with Alexiyana they did yard work and 4-wheeler rides.
Vet had an infectious laugh that could light up a room and he loved music. He would always say, "there is always a type of music for the mood you are feeling". "Don't worry about a thing, 'Cause every little thing gonna be alright", Bob Marley.
Cheveski will be missed by his family and many friends and his presence will forever be all around us. He leaves to cherish his fond memories: his loving wife, Amy, his children, Chloe, Jisaac and Alexiyana; and his mother Elois, who was most dear to his heart; his In-laws, Tom and Gloria Jacobson; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends in SC and ND.
