Charles Augusta Robinson was born May 11, 1945 to the late Robert and Helen Robinson. He was the youngest of five, and because of this, he was affectionately known by many as "Baby Charles".

Charles was reared through the Dorchester County School System and graduated from Williams Memorial High School in the Class of 1965. He later met and married the former Eva Mae Calhoun, on October 11, 1969. To this union, two children were born: Terry and Tasha.

Charles worked diligently at ITT Conoflow for over 40 years. Upon retirement, he spent time with his wife, tending to his cats, rabbit and dog and watching his favorite shows, The Price is Right, Judge Judy and Judge Joe Brown. He also loved going to the beach, going on cruises, laughing and joking with family and friends, visiting his daughter and grandson in Columbia and working on various projects and tasks.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving and devoted wife, Eva Robinson of St. George, SC; one son, Terry Robinson of St. Mary, GA; one daughter, Tasha Robinson of Columbia, SC; two brothers, George (Mary) Robinson and James (Sandra) Robinson both of Brooklyn, NY; four aunts, Flora Barton of Orangeburg, SC, Fannie Jenkins, Philadelphia, PA, Earlance Britt of St. George, SC and Ruth Britt of Las Vegas, NV; three special nieces, Sandra Robinson of Atlanta, GA, DeEtte (Ottley) Freeman and Tatiana Robinson both of Plainfield, NJ; one grandson, Justin of Columbia, SC and a host of sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
