Charles Joseph "Bubba" Grant, Jr. son of Charles and Annette Grant was born December 27, 1993 in Walterboro, SC.

He joined Good Hope Baptist Church at an early age.  He received his formal education within the public school system of Dorchester County School District Four.  He was employed with Dorchester County for many years.

Bubba was a passionate young man with a beautiful spirit.  He could make anyone laugh with his positive vibes.  He loved to joke around, race cars, fish and hunt.  Most of all he loved to make his babies smile.

On Friday, September 25, 2020 at Piedmont Henry Hospital, Bubba gained his wings.  His presence in our lives will forever be cherished and missed.

Preceding him in death were his paternal grandparents, Charlie and Bessie Bates; his maternal grandmother, Nancy Neals; his grandfather, Joseph Neals and his uncle, Marion Jerome Grant.

Bubba is survived by his devoted parents, Charles and Annette Grant of St. George, SC; one sister, Amber Grant of St. George, SC; three kids, Sakari and Sy'Mir Grant both of St. George, SC and Emersyn Grant of Yemassee, SC; godmother, Wilda Martino; nieces and nephews, Aubrey, Ava and Ny'kabrien all of St. George, SC; aunts, Veronica Peppers, Charlene (James) Jenkins, Martha Hodges, Pricilla (James) Addison, Elenor (Isreal) Hodges; uncles, Joseph (Sherry) Neals and Douglas Grant; special friends/brothers, Zahcar, Shuntell, Shawn, Dig'em, Peppy, HB, Banks, John, Sean, Cruz, JD, Keb, Ken, Rod, and Roy; special sister, Belinda; special friend, Danielle Council; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
