Mr. Charles Davis entered into eternal life Wednesday, January 22, 2020 peacefully at his home in Harleyville, SC.

He was born June 5, 1949 in Vance, SC.  He was the seventh of nine children born to the late Mr. Will and Mrs. Susie Abraham Davis of Vance, SC.

He was educated in the public schools of Orangeburg County.

At an early age he connected himself with Rock Hill AME Church of Vance, SC, where he fellowshipped and remained until his passing.

He was united in holy wedlock to Annie Mae Hicks.

He was a loving husband and father.  He was well loved by all who knew him. Charles was a man of few words but had a loving personality.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Mae Hicks; one brother, Freddie Davis, Sr.; two sisters, Rosa Bell Washington and Alice Davis; one step son, Shawvon Roberts.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly; two daughters, Crystal Davis of Harleyville, SC and LaTresha Davis (Gregory) Davidson  of Summerville, SC; two sons, Juan (Toni) Davis of Summerville, SC and Jerrold Davis of Harleyville, SC; one step son, Shawntrel Speed; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one sister, Bertha Davis of Vance, SC; four brothers, Leroy (Ann) Davis and Daniel Davis both of Norwalk, CT, Roosevelt Davis of Santee, SC and Will Davis, Jr. of Holly Hill, SC; one aunt, Lourine Abraham of Vance, SC; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Edward and Rollie Mae Hicks of Harleyville, SC; a host of sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
