Catherine Walker, departed this life on October 11, 2017 surrounded by her loving family at her residence. She was born October 30, 1938 in Reevesville, South Carolina to the late Johnnie Mack and Ella Mae Green Mack.

Catherine was educated in the Public Schools of Dorchester County.

Catherine was employed at Economy Lodge for many years as a House Keeper Supervisor. She also worked at the Home Health Care Center in Charleston, South Carolina.

Catherine was married to Jerry A. Walker for forty years. To this union one beloved son was born, Jerret Walker.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Jerry A. Walker of the home; one son, Jerret Walker of St. George, South Carolina; one grandson, Jakel Walker of St. George, South Carolina; one sister, Lillie Mae (Francis) Shuler of Reevesville, South Carolina; one brother, Larry Mack of Tallahassee, Florida; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Reverend Betty Walker Collins, John H. (Linda) Walker, James (Mary) Walker all of St. George, South Carolina, Johnnie Mae (Paul) Alexander of Manichester, Maryland, Mary Mack of Reevesville, South Carolina and Terry Winningham of Rowesville, South Carolina; a special friend to the family, Shonda Boyd; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
