Catarrence Addison was granted his wings and departed this life on Monday, March 16, 2021 at Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro, SC. He was born March 5, 1973 in Orangeburg, SC to Isaac and Bettie Addison. He was the oldest son in the family of four boys. He grew up in the Wire Road Community of St. George, SC surrounded by the love of his family and friends. His final days were much the same, with him being surrounded by family and friends that he touched in some way through his memorable life.

On October 13, 2012 a Terrence married the love of his life, Francena Wilson-Addison. Their love story ebbed and flowed in a rhythmic motion, as that of waves in an ocean. Francena was by his side until his name was called.

Caterrence was a 1991 graduate of St. George High School.  He joined St. Peters United Methodist Church at a young age and later, in his adult years, moved his membership to St. Mark United Methodist Church.  Caterrence was a hard worker and was employed with Cummins Turbo Technologies, until he medically retired in 2018.

Caterrence will forever be remembered as a loving and a fun guy.  He lived life to the fullest and wasn't afraid to take a chance.  One of Caterrence's favorite activities revolved around his passion for racing.  He enjoyed going to the track to watch fast cars, at times racing his own and hanging with his buddies.  Caterrence loved BIG things.  He loved big motors, big sounds of vehicle pipes, big rims, big cars and as a result became known as "Big T" for a spell.  Later, because he liked Cadillac vehicles, he became known as "Caddie".  The wonderful thing about Caterrence is he didn't live life for just himself.  He found joy in being available to help and support others.  Many would say, he was a gentle giant, had a heart of gold and did not bother anyone.  He was someone you could count on.  He was easy going, quiet and humble.  Caterrence enjoyed music from the 80s R & B charts.  His favorite songs were Patrice Rushen's "Feel so Real" and Atlantic Star's "When Love Calls".

Caterrence leaves to cherish his fond memories:  wife, Francena Wilson-Addison; children, Franziel Pendergrass, Fredricka Alterma, Felisha Johnson and Philip Johnson of Miami, FL; father, Isaac Addison; mother, Bettie Addison; father-in-law, Joseph Wilson; three brothers, Roderick Addison, Antonie Addison and Antonio (Denetra) Addison; uncles and aunts, Joseph (Delorise) Addison, Horace (Linda) Addison, John (Priscilla) Addison, Thomasene Jackson, Barbara Berry, Patricia Carn, and Wilson Carn; four sisters-in-law, Charlotte Wilson, Lisa Williams, Renee Wilson (Jesse) and Oylinda Wilson; two brothers-in-law, Joe Wilson (Nikki), and Tony Wilson (Shirley); a host of grandkids, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Caterrence was a good man with an awesome spirit.  He will forever be missed by his family and friends.
