BRENDA KAY WADE entered into eternal rest on March 8, 2022 at Trident Medical Center in North Charleston, SC after a brief illness. She was born on August 13, 1954, the daughter of the late Willie and Sallie Mae Stokes.
Brenda was educated in the public schools of Dorchester County. She was a member of Harvey Chapel Baptist Church. She was a #1 cook and was always concerned for others more than herself. Brenda had a very humble spirit.
Brenda was preceded in death by her mother, Sallie M. Stokes, father, Willie Stokes, brother, Matthew "Clint" Stokes, sister Connie Mae Stokes, and granddaughter, Caitlin Wade.
Brenda leaves to cherish her fond memories: Her loving husband, Thomas Lee Wade of the home; two children, Tonya (Darrin) Williams of Harleyville, SC and Zachary Isiah Wade of the home; Five siblings, Willie Ernest Stokes, Reevesville, SC, Florence Wilson, Reevesville, SC, Joe Pete (Nellie) Stokes, St. George, SC, Allicia (Pinckney) Simmons, Reevesville, SC and Eddie (Adrienne) Stokes of Walterboro, SC; aunt, Ora Lee Joyner of Lincolnville, SC; brother in-law, Jerome Wade of St. George, SC; a special niece, Michelle Stokes-Glover of Orangeburg, SC, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
