Brenda S. Gordon is the daughter of the late Harold and Dorothy Seals.  She was born January 1, 1964 and entered into eternal rest on June 17, 2021 surround by her loving family.

She was employed at Denny's for twenty-two years where she was the head cook, and really enjoyed cooking.  At an early age she joined Surprise Baptist Church.  She served faithfully as an Usher, member of the Pastor's Aid Board and served as the president as well as a member of the Kitchen Committee.

Her hobbies included cooking, gardening, fishing, playing with her grandkids, playing softball and basketball.

Brenda was preceded in death by one grandson, Brendon; two sisters, Annie V. Martino and Evon Stafford; one brother, Allen Summers.

She was a devoted wife to the late Louis Gordon.  She is survived by her two daughters, Chyenne Gordon and Nigeria Gordon; her beloved grandchildren, Ziyanna Gordon, Journee K. and Mahki P.; her siblings, Carolyn Summers of Bowman, SC, Albertha (Charles) Jones of North Charleston, SC, Harold Seals of Atlanta, GA, John H. Seals of Bowman, SC, Eugene Seals of Dorchester, SC, Dorothy Seals of Ladson, SC, Roosevelt Seals of Dorchester, SC, Alice (Duvan) Hooks of Atlanta, GA, Marilyn Seals of North Charleston, SC and James (Loraine) Green of Columbia, SC; mother-in-law, Mrs. Dolly Gordon of Ravenell, SC; one sister-in-law, Rose Summers of Orlando, FL; three brothers-in-law, Rodney Gordon of NC, Billy Stafford of Dorchester, SC and Curtis Newson; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
