Betty Jean Edwards Dacus, daughter of the late Blanche and William Edwards departed this life on May 12, 2017, after a brief illness.

Betty was a long term caregiver for many years until her health failed. Her husband, Sampson and daughter, Shawnetta preceded her in death.

Betty leaves to cherish her memories, her son, Travis Dacus of Titusville, FL; two sisters, Linda Moorer and Debra Davis both of St. George, C; four aunts, Essie Baxter, Carletha Palmer, Elouise Mack and Emma (Gerome) Johnson all of St. George, SC; three sisters-in-law, Rose Mae (Cleve) Footman, Dorell (Clevon) Ferguson and Kersey Lee Hamilton; a very special cousin, Tricia Owens; best friend, Cassandra Lewis; two devoted nieces, Costellia Walker and Crystal Williams; a special friend, Doug; a host of other relatives and friends.
