Barbara Ann Williams was born on July 15,1949 in Dorchester County SC, daughter of the late Freddie and Hilda Mae Williams. She grew up and attended the public schools in St. George, SC.

She was a member of Shady Grove United Methodist Church, where she served as a United Methodist Woman and a member of the Steward's Board.

She enjoyed cooking for her family; especially during the week of campmeeting.  She also loved planting flowers during the spring time.

She was joined in holy matrimony to the late Jerome Williams.

She was proceeded in death by her son, Lebrone Williams; sister, Mary Elaine Williams; two brothers, Roger Williams and McCoy Glover.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories: one son, James Carn of Saint George, SC; two sisters, Angela Williams of Saint George, SC and Machelle Simmons of Grover, SC; one nephew, Kendrick (Francena) Williams whom she help reared  of Columbia, SC; three sisters-in- law, Mary Carn, and Debra (David) Ross both of Dorchester, SC and Cathy (Jocque) Davis of Alabama; three brothers-in-law, Simon (Geraldine) Williams, Gary (Maxine) Williams and Peter Williams all of Dorchester, SC; her aunts, Stella (Nathaniel) Simmons of Ladson, SC,  Mildred Goodwin and Pearlie Williams all of St .George, SC and Helen (Billy) Jamison of Tennessee; two uncles, Joseph Mack of Bowman, SC and John Mack of Orangeburg, SC; three special nephews, Fred (Ebony) Simmons, Russell Williams and Decoty (Kim) Williams; three special nieces, Ashley Williams, Loretha (James) Garvin and Debra Carn; one special friend, Nathaniel Jones; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
