Barbara Jean Jones, known to family and friends as "Bobby Doll", the daughter of Mr. Willie B. Jones and the late Louise Mack Jones, was born on February 25, 1962. Barbara Jean had ran her race, met her appointment with God, and exchanged time for eternity on October 5, 2009, at Trident Regional Hospital, Charleston, SC.

Barbara Jean grew up in a Christian home and was taught the ways of the lord from her youth. At an early age, she joined New Hope AME Church where she sang on the Young Adult Choir.

Barbara Jean attended the public schools of Dorchester County and graduated from St. George High School in 1981. During her high school years, she was Drum Majorette for the St. George High School Marching Band.

Barbara Jean was employed by Magnolia Assisted Living Facility in Summerville, SC.

Barbara Jean was a beautiful, fun loving person and had a way of making you laugh with her, even when you did not feel like laughing. She enjoyed spending time with her family and she had a special bond not only with her siblings, but also with her cousins. "Bobby Doll" will truly be missed.

Barbara Jean leaves to cherish and live out her legacy of love: a loving and devoted daughter, Bianca Monique Jones of Summerville, SC; her fiancé', Henry Bannister of Summerville, SC; her father, Willie Jones of St. George, SC; one brother, Clarence (Toni) Jones of Harleyville, SC; three sisters, Jennifer (Terence) Primus of Virginia, Sharon (Anthony) Butler and Lisa (Eric) McCants both of St. George, SC; four nephews, Aaron A. Butler, Marvin L. Butler, Jamal Primus and Terence Primus; one niece, Ebony E. Butler; two aunts, Elease (Melvin) Vanderhost of Summerville, SC and Reverend Rosa Mae Mack of St. George, SC; two great aunts, Julia Ann Brooks of New York, NY and Ella Mae Brothers of Dorchester, SC; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
