Ms. Ashley Claise Carson was called home by the Lord peacefully on November 2, 2019 at Trident Medical Center with her family by her side, after an extended illness.
Ashley was our baby girl born on February 3, 1987 in Brooklyn, NY at Brookdale Medical Center. Ashley Carson was the daughter of Cathy Carson and the late Clarence Gregory Keel. She attended school in Brooklyn, NY and Grover Cleveland High School in Queens, NY.
Ashley accepted the Lord Jesus as her personal savior and was baptized and attended Shiloh Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Thomas E. Moore and was a youth choir member. She relocated to St. George, SC in 2007.
Ashley worked as a Dietary Aid at Hallmark Health Care in Summerville, SC. She attended Virginia College and was a certified Pharmacy Medical Technician.
Ashley had a heart of Gold and was loved by everyone she met. She enjoyed spending time with her daughter and family singing, dancing and having a good laugh. She had a gift of gab and would light up a room when she walked in, to know her you would have loved her.
Ashley leaves to cherish precious memories, one daughter, Aliyah Carson; her mother, Cathy Carson and sister, LaRhonda Carson of the home; brother, Travis Patterson, KY; grandmothers, Ruthie Carson of Harleyville, SC and Alice Keel of Chadborne, NC; beloved boyfriend, Andre Wright; aunts, Beverly (Frederick) Sylvia Keel of Hickory, NC, Marilyn (Alonzo) Simmons of Queens, NY, Melody (Calvin) Williams of Queens, NY, Jatonya Mesha Keel , Corine Gadson of St. George, SC, Dora Bell Lary of Harleyville, SC and Judy Carson; uncles, Denzel Josephs of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Arrie (Clementine) Gadson and Shelia (Janie) Martino both of St. George, SC, Elyse (Barbara) Carson of Cambria Heights, NY, and Nathaniel (Betty) Carson; godparents, Cynthia (Marcus) Dungee of Farmville, VA; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
