Anthony Bowman 44, son of the late Deacon Booker T. Bowman and Dorothy Bowman was born in Orangeburg, South Carolina on January 21, 1968. On Saturday, January 12, 2013 he entered into eternal rest at Trident Medical Center in Charleston, South Carolina after a brief illness.

He grew up in the Harleyville area and attended Harleyville-Ridgeville High School. He was married to Lynette Fogle Bowman for twenty-one years and to this union three children were born. At an early age he attended House of God Harleyville with his parents.

Anthony had a passion for landscaping which he really enjoyed. He was a loyal and dedicated crew leader for Arrow Ground Maintenance & Landscaping until his health wouldn't allow him to work. Anthony was truly be loved and will be missed by many.

Those who will always cherish wonderful memories include: his devoted wife, Lynette Bowman; three daughters, Judith Bowman, Bridget Bowman and Sannethia Bowman all of Goose Creek, SC; mother, Dorothy Bowman of Harleyville, SC; three sisters, Annette Amaker Kitt of Andrews, SC, Annetha Bowman Smith and Merylin Johnson both of Harleyville, SC; two brothers, Sylvester Amaker of St. George, SC and Antonio Bowman of New York; one God sister, Brenda Gadson; mother-in-law, Julie (Richard) Fogle; three sisters-in-law, Gardena (Quinn) Smalls of Ladson, SC, Denise Fogle of Dorchester, SC and Toni Fogle of Dorchester, SC; uncles, Adam (Alma) Bowman of Conyers, GA and William Bowman of Newburg, NY; Sammy Lee Adams of Columbia, SC, Charles Adams, Leroy (Herlene) Amaker and James (Bertha Lee) Amaker all of Harleyville, SC; seven aunts, Mary (Marshall Lee) Amaker, and Nealy (Jake) Newton both of Harleyville, SC, Joyce Mack of Summerville, SC, Alemeanper (Randy) Gavins of Holly Hill, SC, Mildred (late Marcellous) Amaker, Mary Ellen Haynes of Summerville, SC and Ruth (Ed) Bennett of Queens, NY; a special niece, Wydekia Scott and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
