Anthonie MarKyth DeReef was born in Charleston, S.C. on January 27, 1986 to Sammie & Eartha Lee Singletary-DeReef. He entered into eternal rest on Friday, September 24, 2021.
His maternal grandparents are the late William and Bessie Utsey-DeReef; Paternal grandparents are the late Willie and Jestine-Cobbs-Singletary.
Proceeded in death by both parents, he was raised in the home of his uncle James (Harrel) & Sarah Singletary from three years of age.
At an early age he became a member of The House of God Church where he served on the Young Folks & Friends Union, Youth Choir, Sunday Bible School Department and Youth Usher Board.
Anthonie was educated in the public schools of Dorchester County, having graduated from Woodland High School in 2005. Upon graduation, he was employed by US Cocoa Mat, St George SC. His work history included machinery production and customer service. He also worked at the US Postal Service for four years.
He resided in Summerville SC for a few years until he relocated to Columbia where he remained until his untimely death. "Kyth" was quiet and kept mostly to himself.
