Annie Mae Pinckney (Cobbs) was born on July 7, 1927 in Saint George, South Carolina. Annie was the oldest of three children two of whom proceeded her in death.  Annie was raised by her mother Ella Mae Moorer (Cobbs), who also proceeded her in death.

Annie attended William Memorial High School where she received her high school diploma.

In 1953, Annie met and married the love of her life and together they raised 7 children.  Two of whom, proceeded her in death.

Annie and her family moved to New York in 1964 at which time she became a homemaker.  Annie later attended Adelphi Institute where she studied secretarial science. She held various jobs throughout the years until she retired.

Annie enjoyed playing cards, traveling, shopping and spending quality time with her family.

Annie leaves to mourn her passing, 5 children, sons, Edgar and Roscoe Pinckney; daughters, Barbara, Monica and Tamulette.  Annie was the proud grandmother of 32 grandchildren, 51 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, a host of extended family and friends.
