Andrew Toomer (Coot & Buster), our most beloved father, brother, family member, and friend passed away on Wednesday, November 17, 2021.  He was born on October 10, 1958.

Those who knew Andrew, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives.

At an early age, Andrew joined St. Mark Baptist Church.  He was educated by Dorchester County public schools and graduated from St. George High in 1978.  He attended Nielson Electronics Institute.

Andrew was known for some of his unique quotes.  Just to name a few, "Love don't love nobody"; "It's your world, I'm just living in it"; "Step in the Name of Love" and "Life is like riding a horse, if you fall off, get back on it".

We know Andrew is now with his parents, Madjia and Ruby Mae Toomer, and his sister Hattie Ruth Toomer and is loved here on earth as well as in heaven.

Andrew will be missed every day by his loving daughter, Drucilla Toomer of Jacksonville Fla; four sisters, Mattie Wolfe, Lynette (Mike) Britt, Iris (Yomi) Soyebo, and Angelia Norris (James) Owens; four brothers, Carl (Rhudene)Toomer, Joseph (Tina) Toomer, Perry (Aretha) Toomer and Donald Toomer; five aunts, Myzine Primus Guess, Fannie Kearney, Annie L Britt, Preto Hayes and Betty Bey; a host of nieces and nephews, and the Texas Community family.
