Alvin (Bubba) Summers Jr. was born to Alvin Summers Sr. and Mary Dunning Summers on February 15, 1971 in Far Rockaway, NY. Alvin accepted Christ at an early age at St. John's Baptist Church in Inwood, NY. Virtually, Alvin recently rededicated his life to Christ with Antioch Witness Church under the leadership of Rev. Glen Harris Sr., located in Gainsville, Alabama.
Alvin was educated by the New York City Board of Education School System in Far Rockaway, NY. After graduating from Far Rockaway High School, Alvin continued his education at Nelson Electronic Institute and Trident Technical College and pursued a Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Alvin became a Mason at the age of 26. His dedication, skills, and knowledge led him to be ranked up to 33rd Degree. Alvin was Super proud to be a Mason!
Alvin had a passion for God, Food, Family, Electronics, and Fashion. He was very passionate and determined in knowing all of his family. He also made sure that his family was acquainted and stayed united with one another.
Alvin was granted his wings on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at St Johns Episcopal Hospital in Far Rockaway, NY. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Mary Summers; (1) Son, Shaheem Berry; Grandparents, Alton and Lenell Summers; (2) Aunts, Bettie J. Harris and Cynthia Martino; (5) Uncles, Robert Dunning, Kenneth Summers, Joseph Dereef, Arnold Steward and Paul Johnson; Godmother, Emma Ross; and his Father-In-Law, Douglas Montgomery.
Alvin leaves to cherish his memories; his beloved wife, Eboni Arnette-Summers of Far Rockaway NY; (2) Sons, Shadell and Jasir Summers (NY); (6) Daughters (5 of which were created from the Union with Leslie Britt). Markelle (Keith) Henderson, Shamayne and Shamara Summers, Shawana Britt (SC), Aeriyona Summers (GA) and Ajanae Summers (NY); (7) Grandchildren, Deon, Deonte, De'onii, King, Cymphany, Isiah, and Christian (SC); Grandmother, Leona Dunning (NY); Mother In Law, Regina Arnette (NY); (1) Sister, Tara (Geoboris) Summers-White (DE); (1) Niece, Juleah White; (2) Brother In Laws, Alphonso Heyward Jr. (GA) and Davon Brooks (NC); (2) God Brothers, Tyshon Mitchell and Martici Dunning (NY); (4) God Sisters, Sinder Dunning/Aunt (DE), Lashona Dunning/Cousin (NY), Adrienne (Eddie) Steward/Cousin (NC), and Deandra Stewart/Cousin (VA); (3) Devoted Cousins, Deric Dunning, Linda Pierre Louis and Martel Dunning all from NY. (3) Uncles, Byron Dunning (NY), Lewis Dunning (AL), and Authur J.
