Alma Cobb Jennings entered into eternal rest on December 27, 2011. She was the daughter of the late Leck and Corrie Cobb. She attended the public schools of Dorchester County.

She was married to the late Stephen Jennings to this union they had eight beautiful children. Three of her children preceded her in death- two daughters, Shirley Jennings and Clarine Jennings and one son, Rosevelt Jennings.

She leaves to cherish her memory five children: three sons, Harold (Sharon) Jennings and Steven (Melva) Jennings both of St. George and Joseph (Annette) Jennings of Queens, NY; two daughters, Alfreda Jennings and Brenda Jennings of the home; fourteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one great-great grandchildren; one God daughter, Fannie (MacArthur) Spells; one brother-in-law, Walter Jennings; one sister-in-law, Bernice Cobb and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
