Alice Ann Johnson was born on October 18, 1960 to the late Mr. Willie Allen, Sr. and Mrs. Louise "Lucille" Allen.  She entered eternal rest on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at Lowcountry Community Hospice House of Summerville, South Carolina.

Alice grew up in Bowman, South Carolina. At an early age she moved to New Jersey where she attended her school years and worked at Rocky Furniture Store until she moved back to South Carolina in 1981.  Alice then gave her life to God and became a servant at Second Providence Baptist Church (Shady Grove Community).

Alice was affectionately known by many for her acts of kindness and her sweet spirit.  To know her, you had to love her.  She was a comedian with great laughs and a tell it like it is mom to everyone.

Alice worked as a caregiver for many years until her health declined.

Alice was preceded in death by four sisters, Eartha Lee Peppers, Venzare Kelly, Louise "Red" Allen and Barbara Fogle; one brother, Willie Allen, Jr.; one brother-in-law, Sam Kelly.

Alice leaves to cherish her fond memories, her sons, McCory (Nikki) Johnson, and Henry Johnson both of St. George, SC and Jeffery (Kim) Johnson of Summerville, SC; two sisters, Jeanette (Jeff) Jenkins of St. Stephens, SC and Laverne Ellis of St. George, SC; one brother, Nathaniel (Angie) Allen of Bowman, SC; grandchildren, Keyshawn Washington, Cortez Johnson, Shatara Johnson, Phylicia Johnson, Jaylashia Johnson, Zynia George, Kirstan Thompson, Jaycean Johnson, A'lena Washington, and Zariah Weldon; a special caregiver, Mary Green; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
