Alfonzo Higgins was the son of the late, Edreka Higgins and Ben Grant. He was married to the late Lela Mae Higgins. She was a loving and devoted wife. To this union three loving children were born: a son, Valentino Hipp Sr., daughters, Keisha Higgins-Worth( Roy Sr.) Alice Higgins. As a young man he relocated to New York. He had several jobs, East New York Roofing Company and New York City Housing Authority from which retired. William Bill" Watson and Agin Muwwakill were like brothers to Alfonzo. Alfonzo has many nick names, Hipster, Junie, New York and AI.
Alfonzo will be missed by his loving children, son, Valentino Hipp Sr., daughters, Keisha Higgins- Worth( Roy Sr.) Alice Higgins ,grandchildren: Teshawn Banks, Roy Worth Jr., Alexis Hilt Valentino Hipp Jr., Taliyah Higgins, Trezzure Whitney, Trianna Whitney and God daughter, Crystal Peterson all of Brooklyn New York. Sisters Ella Wese Brown, Jeanette Nelson, Queen Ester Little, Odell (Raymond) Scrivens and a devoted cousin William (Tommie) Watson. Sisters in law: Lillie Mae Brown. Anna Mae Brown and Edna Mae Brown. Grand aunts Geneva Chisolm and Margret Miller, aunts, uncles, grandaunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. He had two devoted friends Mildren Fyall and Auther Lee Bulter.
