Mr. Adolph (Yuh) Reeves son of the late Mrs. Emmaline Coger Reeves and the late Mr. Henry Reeves. Adolph Reeves was born on July 26, 1944 in Dorchester County. He departed this life January 14, 2012 at Colleton Regional Hospital after an extended illness.
He attended Reevesville Public Schools. He worked in the Logging Industry for many years. He enjoyed cooking, gardening, fishing and taking care of his animals.
Three brothers and one sister preceded him death, John H. Reeves, Isado Reeves, Timothy Reeves and Sue Reeves.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife, Salley Reeves; two daughters, Annette Reeves of Connecticut and Tonyetta (Jasper) Guest of St. George, South Carolina; two sons, Adam Reeves of Connecticut and Derick Moore of St. George, South Carolina; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild; two sisters, Queen Elizabeth Green and Patricia (David) Sanders both of Reevesville, South Carolina; two brothers, Leon (Patricia) Reeves of Reevesville, South Carolina and Joseph (Janet) Reeves of Georgia; one sister-in-law, Mammie Fishmon; one brother-in-law, Will Peppers and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
